Kershner’s support team, “the pit” provides support and the trading assistance that is crucial to the vitality of a dynamic trading floor. The role of this pit team is to help traders make more money by allowing them to focus on what matters most – buying and selling. The trade support team works closely with and supports traders by:
- Finding hard-to-borrow stocks
- “Fighting” for improved pricing on filled orders
- Monitoring trade orders for problems
- Checking news on volatile stocks

Our compliance department works to sustain and improve the professional standards and behavior of our team. The focus of Kershner’s compliance team is to be proactive and stay ahead of the regulation curve.
Risk Management
Kershner Trading Group invests in the people, processes and tools to allow traders and staff at all levels to monitor and control risk on a real-time basis. Risk management is an important element in scaling the business. Individual traders are responsible for appropriately managing their risk. Senior Traders set risk guidelines for traders as a check and balance mechanism.

Training Philosophy
 Kershner Trading Group believes that the success and performance improvement of our business and our traders is based on continuous learning. We are committed to providing educational opportunities for all team members. As part of our ongoing training and professional development, we offer speakers on relevant topics and issues as well as regular town hall-style meetings.
Initial Training for New Traders
New traders at Kershner Trading Group go through “boot camp” to learn Gr8trade®, our proprietary trading platform, as well as tips and strategies used by our experienced, successful traders. At the conclusion of boot camp, traders join a team under the guidance of a Senior Trader who coaches, mentors and manages the trading process.
Initial Training for Experienced Traders
High performing, experienced traders receive training in the Gr8trade® trading platform as well as an overview of the support available throughout the company. The best training offered by the company is the constant sharing of information, strategies and techniques within our team approach to trading.
Continuing Education
