Kershner Trading Group, LLC understands what traders need to succeed. CEO Andy Kershner has more than a decade of experience as a highly successful trader and a proven track record of technology development. He is known for taking ideas for improved short-term trading performance and turning them into valuable software products that traders use to excel.

Leveraging his leadership experience in trading and technology, Andy has put together a management structure specifically designed to encourage trader leadership and trader success.

Team-Based Trading

Kershner traders organize themselves into teams, or “pods.” Our experience has proven that when two traders with similar strategies share ideas, each is able to execute on 50 percent more trades than working on their own.

Most of our traders work together as a team to enhance everyone’s profits. Many of our traders choose to link themselves via peer-to-peer headsets during the day. Ideas can be shared and discussed before the open and during trading hours, continually reviewing what is working best and modifying strategies on a real-time basis.

Team-based trading fosters an open environment where traders feel encouraged to come up with innovative ideas.

Senior Traders

Some of our best individual traders choose to become Senior Traders. Senior Traders are responsible for growing new and experienced traders under their leadership. They help successful traders maintain and increase their profits. They help new, less-experienced traders by providing structure and feedback to reach their goals. Senior traders lead by example through their personal trading success. In addition, they lead group meetings, supervise risks, and provide timely one-on-one feedback to traders.
