Email and Instant Messaging

Kershner Trading Group, LLC (“Kershner Trading”) is a NASD Member Firm, as a member firm Kershner Trading is required to supervise and review business-related e-mail and instant messaging sent by and to Registered Representatives and Associated Persons of the firm. E-Mail Communication that uses the “@kershnertrading.com” identifier is captured, enabled to be reviewed, and archived in accordance with SEC Rules 17a-3 and 17a-4.

Kershner Trading also utilizes a system platform that allows the firm to monitor, archive, and retrieve instant-messaging message traffic. Kershner Trading associates and employees Instant-Messaging conversations are prompted with the following warning “IM conversations occurring on Kershner Trading Group Systems are being monitored, recorded, reviewed, and archived."
