John Morris
Director of Engineering

John Morris joined Kershner in July 2007 and is currently in the role of Director of Engineering. He has more than 15 years of technology experience in the financial industry. John brings a history of building top quality trading applications to Kershner. He is responsible for continuously improving our flagship Gr8Trade trading system as well as leading our forward-looking technology investments.

Prior to joining Kershner, John was Associate Director, Trade and Asset Services for UBS Investments where he was responsible for technology that routed all UBS domestic fixed income business to ADP for clearing and settlement. Before joining UBS, John was at Instinet Corporation for over 12 years growing into the role of Vice President, Brokerage Services. While at Instinet John contributed to their Order Management System and Research & Analytics Products as a developer and development manager. John rounded out his Instinet career by heading Instinet’s Trading Portal technology team, delivering the direct market access product to more than 1200 users.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.
