Sr. Software Engineer - Presentation Services

Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years of C# and .Net and 5 years of Java technologies or C++.
- Experience writing thick-client applications
- Strong troubleshooting, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Deep understanding of multithreading.
- Strong grasp of software design patterns and effective development methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to influence strategy, tactics and perceptions.
- Resourceful, independent, self-disciplined, and has positive attitude.
- Strong trading or financial software experience, especially real-time systems.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong sense of teamwork with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading a team of engineers
- Strength in planning projects and aligning engineers to tasks and plans
- Professional software development experience with WPF and WCF.
Definition of Role:
This role requires hands on, senior level engineering and development management skills to compliment the 7 experienced members of KTG's Presentation Services Team. The Presentation Services Team builds high performing trading system front ends. Strong communications skills are a must, because this role will be interacting with our Traders, Product Management Team and our Enterprise Architect to understand how to best apply the use of technology. A skilled engineer currently within the financial services arena will thrive in this role.
