Job Description:
Responsible for both client and server side software development for content collection and delivery using .NET; Responsible for working on an innovative project and with a team that will push the limits of .NET
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience developing Windows based server-side software using object oriented techniques
- Experience using Microsoft C++, MFC, Visual Studio 2003 or 2005
- Exceptional .NET and C# skill set
- Experience using UML
- Experience developing feature-rich, intuitive user interfaces
- Experience developing highly complex server-side applications
- Excellent grasp of software engineering principles including development and release lifecycle processes
- Disciplined use of a source control system
- Strong sense of teamwork with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Experience with trading or financial software, ideally equities trading, FIX messaging protocol, etc
- Experience developing visual programming user interfaces
- Experience in architectural design concepts, system design and user experience
- Experience with .NET remoting
- Experience with Web 2.0, RSS Feeds
- Meaningful experience with SQL database (ideally MSSQL Server) concepts and usage, as well as database design (structure, views, stored procedures, etc)
- Experience with middleware messaging solutions (e.g. LBM, TIBCO, MQ, etc)
